Breaking Ground in Jerome Township: New Flex-Industrial Development Underway
Construction begins on a modern flex space solution for Jerome Township’s business community.
Small businesses need space to grow—and in Central Ohio, that space is in high demand.
We were proud to join Dublin Building Systems to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new 42,000 SF flex-industrial development designed to meet the growing demand for small business space in Jerome Township, Ohio.
Led by Como Development in partnership with Chris Schnetzler of Distinctive Marble & Granite, the project began as a vision to transform surplus land into something that would give back to the community Chris has been part of for years.
As Leland Vogel of Como Development puts it: “There are a lot of businesses interested in locating or expanding in the region—but there’s a lack of readily available spaces for them to do it.”

“With the growth happening in Plain City and Dublin, the demand for flexible spaces for small businesses and budding entrepreneurs is higher than it's ever been. The goal is to grow jobs within the community and strengthen the local economic base right here in Jerome Township.”
Two industrial buildings (24,000 SF and 18,000 SF) will sit prominently off Industrial Parkway in Plain City, designed with sleek black exterior finishes and interior layouts flexible enough to grow with the businesses that will soon call it home.
“We’ll be able to provide space for tenants as small as 3,000 SF,” Vogel added. “Those bread-and-butter businesses now have a place to operate and expand—whether they’re just moving into their first commercial space or they’ve been around a while and are ready to step up into a 6-, 9-, or 12,000 SF suite.”

Construction is underway on the $7 million project, with tenant spaces expected to be available later this year or in early 2026. We’re excited to watch this development take shape and support the kinds of businesses that drive the region forward.
