Project Stats
Summary
Developed as a gateway to the King-Lincoln District in Columbus, Ohio, The Adelphi Quarter is a mixed-used, urban infill project designed, in collaboration with local community and its leaders, to be a catalyst for future development in the neighborhood. Spanning multiple city blocks, the development consists of multiple buildings that respond to the neighborhood context and create several outdoor community gathering spaces. Referencing the rich architectural and cultural history of the neighborhood, The Adelphi Quarter pays homage to its past through its array of materials, including the re-use of the original stone façade of The Adelphi Building Loan & Savings, which was the first African-American owned bank in Columbus, Ohio.
