Associate

archall is looking for team members who can manage and produce design / construction documentation from schematic design to construction documents and through construction administration.  You should have architectural office experience, be focused, talented, and passionate about what you do.

We are a mid-sized design firm that works primarily with private sector owners and projects typically move fast.  We foster an entrepreneurial spirit in all that we do. Project focus areas include; automotive dealerships, retail, trucking distribution centers, warehouses, industrial fabrication, restaurants, multi-family, office, and mixed use developments.  

Candidates should have clear communication skills and the ability to present their work to the design team and project owners. We are looking for people with a strong work ethic, design sensibility, and proficiency in producing accurate construction documents and schematic design drawings. Members of our collaborative team are involved in all aspects of the design process from schematic design, construction documentation, construction administration, and final closeout.

Required: Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

Recommended: Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp

Receptionist

A great receptionist can provide the right first impression for new clients as well as make long-term customers feel like family. Archall is seeking a warm, friendly, self-motivated, highly organized person who is a service-oriented team player with developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Additional training will be provided for company-specific software applications.

 Daily duties include:

  • Greet clients and visitors as they enter the firm; inform company employees that guests have arrived for meetings or appointments.
  • Perform administrative support tasks including proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and maintaining stock of office supplies.
  • Answer, screen, and forward calls, provide general information, and take messages.
  • Perform duties such as refilling refreshments and offering services when visitors initially enter front reception area.
  • Transmit information or documents using email, postal mail, and eFax services. Process incoming mail and receive deliveries.

Customer service skills are absolutely required; a completed or in-progress degree in English, Business, or Human Resources is strongly preferred. Future growth into additional administration of office, human resources, and/or bookkeeping tasks is anticipated, and pay increases will be commensurate with achievements.

The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; some flexibility is available for those in the final stages of completing a degree.  Archall offers a comprehensive package of benefits to full-time employees including medical, dental, and vision insurance and access to a 401(k) plan upon completion of one-year service requirement.
